Today Sept 27, 2011 it is being reported that the US Supreme court will be soon getting the OBAMACARE case. The OBAMA administration is not going to block it from going to the US Supreme Court and now can fast track to them and could be decided by June of 2012 just before the election..... On June 16, 2011, the US Supreme Court overturned a US Court of Appeal ruling; and, believe it or not, reasserted not only State sovereignty but individual sovereignty as well. A win for us !! This is the case of Bond vs US (click here to find out more info about this landmark case)
Agenda 21 what is it? and why do you want to care about it?
The 10th Amendment Foundation along with SW VA Tea-Party Abingdon/Bristol have requested though the Freedom of Information Request with the Town of Abingdon on their involvement with ICLEI of the United Nations. We also spoke with the Washington County Board of Supervisors of Virginia about what Agenda 21 is and the unconstitutional relationship that they might be engaging in with this organization. 6/6/2011 update: we met with the Mayor and Vice-Mayor of Abingdon Va and we again requested that the Town of Abingdon disengage with ICLEI and they said that they are still waiting to hear from the GO Green Committee on their recommendations. We then set up a meeting with the GO Green Committee on 6/13/2011 and went and presented to them our concerns with ICLEI and Agenda 21 and they said that they will again put us on the next meetings agenda due to the fact they were one short of being a quorum. That meeting will be on 7/21/2011. will update when we have more info.

For over 3 years (and more) the Congress and the President have tried everything they could to take total power in the Federal Government and to destroy our Constitutional Republic and the Rule of Law. Everything they have done has been at least in violation of the 10th Amendment to the Constitution which says:
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States, respectively, or to the people."

We are "The 10th Amendment Foundation", since we were formed, we worked with many others to try to re-establish the Constitutional limitations set up by the 10th Amendment. By now we and our partners in liberty (hopefully) have repelled many of the attacks on our Constitution such as the so called "ObamaCare" and "Cap and Trade", but we know that we must never again fail to remember our constitution and the guarantees of freedom that it gives us and to fight anyone who would try to limit its protections. We cannot lay down with a few victories. We must always remember that "Freedom is Never Free".

The 10th Amendment Foundation is a grass roots, non-partisan, non-profit political educational corporation formed by citizens of the United States who are upset with the run-away violations with the Rule of Law (basically The United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights) who want to find ways to restrain the Federal Government from exceeding the limited powers granted to it in the by the people and the sovereign states that united them in the founding instrument—the United States Constitution.

We believe that something must be done NOW if our children (whose liberties the United States was established to uphold under the preamble of the Constitution) are to avoid catastrophic consequences.

We believe that many of the problems currently confronting the country have been caused, or made worse, by the federal government’s exceeding its authorized power.
