FOR THE LAST YEAR (AND MORE) THE CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING THEY COULD TO TAKE TOTAL POWER IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND TO DESTROY OUR CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC AND RULE OF LAW. EVERYTHING THEY HAVE DONE HAS BEEN IN VIOLATION OF THE 10TH AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION WHICH SAYS THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT OR POWER NOT GRANTED TO THEM BY THE CONSTITUTION.

WE ARE THE 10TH AMENDMENT FOUNDATION. LAST YEAR, WE WORKED WITH MANY OTHERS TO TRY TO RE-ESTABLISH THE CONSTITUTIONAL LIMITATIONS SET UP BY THE 10TH AMENDMENT. BY NOW WE AND OUR PARTNERS IN LIBERTY (HOPEFULLY) HAVE REPELLED MANY OF THE ATTACKS ON OUR CONSTITUTION SUCH AS THE SO CALLED "OBAMACARE" AND "CAP AND TRADE" , BUT WE KNOW THAT WE MUST NEVER AGAIN FAIL TO REMEMBER OUR CONSTITUTION AND THE GUARANTEES OF FREEDOM THAT IT GIVES US AND TO FIGHT ANYONE WHO WOULD TRY TO LIMIT ITS PROTECTIONS.

WE CANNOT LAY DOWN WITH A FEW VICTORIES. WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT FREEDOM IS NEVER FREE.

A NON-PARTISAN, TAX EXEMPT, POLITICAL EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

The 10^th Amendment Foundation is a grass roots, non-partisan, non-profit political educational corporation formed by citizens of the United States who are upset with the run-away violations with the Rule of Law (basically The United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights) who want to find ways to restrain the Federal Government from exceeding the limited powers granted to it in the by the people and the sovereign states that united them in the founding instrument—the United States Constitution.

AN ANSWER TO ACORN AND BIG LABOR

The progressive statists (big government people) already have a so called non partisan political educational corporation of sorts. It is called by the acronym: ACORN

Most of those of us who believe in the Rule of Law and the Constitution (many of whom helped organize the modern "tea Parties") now understand that we need a similar national organization that is not tied to any political party, but only to those who would govern by and under the Rule of law and the Constitution.

We also understand that many--indeed most Americans--including most of our elected officials have no understanding at all of our Constitution or the Rule of Law (And this includes the lawyers as well as the non lawyers.)

The big difference between the two ( besides the Foundation's ultimate goal of saving the greatest republic in history) is that The 10th Amendment Foundation , Inc. intends to carry out its actions legally, AND The 10th Amendment Foundation, Inc. does not have any government grants to carry out its work and must rely on the volunteer efforts and the financial contributions of its members and supporters

We believe that something must be done NOW if our children (whose liberties the United States was established to uphold under the preamble of the Constitution) are to avoid catastrophic consequences.

We believe that many of the problems currently confronting the country have been caused, or made worse, by the federal government’s exceeding its authorized power.

We believe the Constitution and the Bill of Rights state clearly the limited powers of our federal government and we seek to use all lawful means to restrain governmental actions to conform within those limited powers.
